DIE fokken ANTWOORD !!! There's a few ways to get free tickets to a music festival as a photographer. You can try and submit a written proposal along with your credentials or get a magazine or company to back you. Or perhaps you have some great friends in high places that can hook you up with VIP tickets or media passes. But the '(m)ake it till you make it' way is my favourite. You hop a couple unnecessary fences into a forest, traverse a cliff, hop a river and dodge a footpath before you walk past security like you own the place. POND the Band
POND, Doctopus & Peter Bibby.
I shot bunch of Ausie psych bands in Seattle the other night in a small ass venue called Tractor Tavern. POND here, blew up in AUS a while ago and there slowly catching on over here. It was a core crew in the house with the front row all in love and on drugs.
I brought my Minolta srT 101 in with a roll of 3200 iso tmax film, and set my camera at f.2 and 1/60s.

Mike Jensen visited Club Tolmie last night to debut his new solos single “On My Back Porch”.
Lead guitar and vocalist from Greet The Mind said he wishes more then anything to play in a three piece band one day. He even joked with photographer Alex Guiry, about picking up a drum set and joining him on the road. “Yea broo.. like even just start singing, you know, just like get up on stage with that confidence you have when you get naked at parties… right.. like singing is all about confidence you know what i mean, man?” -Mike Jensen.
