Today I had this vision with no real reasoning other then a gut feeling to put something out in the world that ambiguously related to the relationship I have with my fathers spirit. I came here on my own, and drank to you alone. Once I posted this photo my mom reminded me it was 7 years ago today my dad went into the hospital for two weeks and didn’t make it out alive. Believe it or not this synchronicity between the photo/ writing and timing brought me great joy! Pretty fucked up eh?! I had a feeling it was a full moon.
So for the next two weeks I will be dedicating my days to my dad Neil. Spending time with my friends in the PNW, camping and fishing, then traveling to Toronto to see my family then off to Tofino to shoot, surf and participate in a photo competition! Doing things he loved and the things he didn’t but most importantly practicing good health! Because when your gone, your gone for a long time. XO love you bro.

I’m really happy to say that this framed photo, along with three others will be apart of a silent action presented by TOMS Shoes tomorrow night at the State Of The Art show. And I’m even more stoked to be able to say all proceeds go to an organization called Zero Ceiling that gets Whistler’s youth at risk into adventure programs. Om!

Calm down.
Walking past a palapa on a hot Oaxacan day, we pulled over and took a couple homemade shots of Torito with the boys. It’s full of alcohol, nuts, fake milk, and sugar cane. Torito means Little Bull. We walked twenty minutes in the polar opposite direction to find a yoga studio, because my friend knew it was up the melting asphalt hill. Five minutes later I had a hang over.
